I had a problem with my iMac G5 and I used the online Assistant that Apple no provide to iMac G5 owners.
The questions / answers could not solve the problem so a chat session started and I had a live text chat with Tom one of the Apple technical support team.
He was very good, and I did not have to wait to use it.
I am waiting now while he looks up some resources to resolve my issue (losing Airport connection after wake up from sleep)
Even better. once he found the dowloads I needed he displayed them in the window to the right of the chat window.
It's excellent, they even use you name in the conversation, stunning !!!

Not sure if it's fixed, but it looks like it might be.
I need to try it with the computer asleep for a while.
He got me to download the Airport Card Update 2004-08-31 and the Airport Express 4.0.1 update.
I was very impressed with the whole thing, no phone call costs either.
I wonder how long you will have to wait when the service gets busy, I waited all of 30 seconds to get a chat session (not iChat by the way, a Java chat is opening Safari)

Mine seems to be OK actually.
I have not had to reconnect to the basestation since I updated the software.
