How do I go about plugging a Microphone into a Powermac G5? Do I simply plug the mic into the analogue audio-input on the back of the machine or does teh unit have a built-in Mic?

The audio input on a G5 is not a microphone input, it's a line-level audio input. A standard PC microphone will not work, you will need a preamplifier.

It does not have a built-in mike.

You can also get an iSight as use that as a Mic.

Another good option is a USB microphone. That's the route I took.
