New G5 rejects production suite DVDs, not others

Brand new dual 1.8 is rejecting all the DVDs from the brand new production suite, but it will read other DVDs, including the OSX DVDs. Anyone had similar problems? Is it hardware or is it possible a whole group of DVDs could be bad? No problem with CD's reading or writing.

got my new dual 1.8 in june and i haven't had a problem reading any dvd's. its read all movies and games i put into it. maybe its a software driver for the dvd player. i dunno
