Im going to get the dual 1.8 G5 (stock) and I want to add memory to it. Since the places that sell ram say that you should install it in pairs, I ordered 2 512's to start.
So does that mean I need to take out the 256 that it comes with? I dont see that Apple would have 2 sticks of 128...correct? If they dont, then why do I need to put in pairs?

I don't think you need to take out those stock sticks, there should be enough space to add the sticks you ordered ... leave the 256 in there and just add what you got.

stuffing feathers up your b*tt doesn't make you a chicken.
