Hi Guys,
Have just installed my 6800, into a G5 2.5, and everything looks cool except for when I run itunes visualiser fullscreen I get a lowres almost interlaced rendering.
Can anyone confirm, I assume it's a driver issue !

I'm pretty sure that when the iTunes visualizer goes fullscreen, it goes to 640x480 resolution or similar. You might also be noticing it's pixel doubling feature, which you can disable (if it's on) by running the visualizer in windowed mode and clicking that colored 'gear' icon to configure the plugin.
If the low resolution really bugs you, try downloading g-force which is what the iTunes visualizer is based upon, and you can then simply edit it's config file to tell it to run at a higher resolution.

Also, you might want to check, that rendering is set to Open GL mode... I don't know if that actually affects the visual quality, but just check anyway.

Just use G-Force, it's better anyways.

I agree with faragbre967. There are better plug-ins.

With a 6800 I've been getting 80+ fps on a 30" display with Gaslight, which is a nifty visualizer plug-in.
edit: after dinking with Gaslight a bit, it has been cranking out 140 fps full screen at its highest resolution (1024x768).
