i got my dual 2.5 last week. i got the notification in software update and followed the instructions. restarted with the beep and flashing button. the machine didn't update after restart. now the software update keeps saying software available, i hit install, it asks for my password and i give it and it downloads and nothing happens but the software update notifies .... four times i've gone through this. help would be very much appreciated.

do you get the notice to shut down?

are u letting go of the power button as soon as you hear the long pitched tone? [isn't the normal chime that u get on start up]

other that that, no idea, mine didn't work on 1st attempt, so had to try twice, was ok 2nd time.
