Yup; there are bags. Innovation makes for new products. See: THIS

Wow, that bag is great. I would really like to hear from someone who takes the iMac G5 back and forth between locations with this bag. How practical? How heavy? Anyone out there thinking of ditching a powerbook G4 for an iMac G5 with the bag? I am.

I would keep an eye on this site: http://www.acmemade.com/
They make covers for everything else so i would think a new iMac cover would be right around the corner.

I recommend the LTA Projects lugger as linked above. Steve Garner is a really nice guy and got me the very first production 20" bag as I needed it for a flight to visit family for thanksgiving.
He's made the bag just small enough to qualify for the airline's carry-on size restricitions - this means you need to be careful as far as banging it into things cause the padding is pretty thin on the bottom - however beyond that it works pretty well. It is heavy to carry the 20" around and you'll want to have both hands free to keep the shoulder strap from digging into your shoulder because of how heavy it is.
In short, it makes the giant-screened 20" iMac portable, and I'm thankful that somebody's come up with a product like this.

Maybe something like this?

That's for the G4 iMac, but maybe the company is working on a version for the G5 iMac. You can always email them and ask.
