Just called CDW and they have finally cleared their backorder of the stock dual 2.5s and they have them available to ship TODAY. If you call them right now, you could be enjoying a new G5 by tomorrow.

This is finally great news, I only know because I called to get the status of my lab's G5s, and our acct manager said that it shipped today and that they just got a large shipment in today!

Anywhere else finally caught up? I see the Apple store is still quoting 1-2 weeks.

you forgot the quotes around "release".

Werd, my dual 2.0 is in for a CPU. The video card died in March and I had a HD scare involving the fs.

I can assure you, I wish I was a troll and that my DP G5/2.5 worked perfectly, alas, it's the other way around!
