I have wondered whereabout Apple obtains its motherboards since it had its ersatz AGP slot in the blue G3s. Any thoughts? Hopefully I will not get my head handed to me for asking.

Apple probably farms out the production of the actual motherboards, but I'm pretty sure they are Apple designs?

Yes, you must be right, just curious on my part, thinking back to that seeming cost conscious G3 motherboard.

One thinks on the quality of such places as Asus, and wonders if Apple uses them.

Sure was nice to see the G5 come out with its motherboard, and that machine's capabilities.
