I have a PM DP533 with OS10.2.8. I just bought a powerbook and would like to know if I can upgrade my PM to panther from the powerbook software install cd. Would all of my settings be preserved or would I wipe everything out?

thanks

I doubt you can do the install to the PM from the PB install CD, since it's prolly gonna check for the target machine being a PB.

You can install a retail copy of Panther on any machine that can take it. See if one of your friends have a Panther retail copy.

Ummm... "see if one of your friends?"

Why not just download the damn thing from Kazaa or BitTorrent? It's just as legal
