I've been using my 23 Cinema Display for over a month and it's great--no pink or other problems reported here.

My new g5 is sweet--the envy of my co-workers.

And it all is connected to an Exchange server network--no problems there either!

What are the first 4 or 5 digits in your monitor's serial number? I'm wondering if the most recently manufactured units have been fixed.

Why should it be a PM? Maybe the OP thought there would be some value in knowing how Nico's monitor is. I think so. I want to get one of those displays.

Why?? All the first few digits are going to do is tell you the manufacture date??

Even if he gives me the whole #, what else could I do with it anyway? Forge a new monitor? Call the police and claim he stole it from me??

Well, I guess that settles it... mine is good, yours is good.... therefore NOT ALL of the 23" have the pink.

If yours does, fight, and insist Apple gives you a new screen.

just curious, what does this "pink" look like. I have a 23 inch and it looks great everywhere on it, no discolorization. Does anyone have any pics or anything of this so that they can share. I've heard of this issue, but have yet to ever see it.
