[Mac Hammer Fan]

My friend has a old G3 Beige Desktop with a G3 ZIF running 366 MHz (overclocked). He uses OS9 and OSX Panther.
What would be the best upgrade for a decent price e.g 200 bucks?
He doesn't play games but uses his Mac for DVD burning (doesn't watch DVds on his Mac) , surfing the internet and word processing, so 2D acceleration is more important than 3D.
@ A G4 ZIF 600 Daystar and no graphics card (keep using the onboard 6 MB VRAM)
@ A G4 ZIF 500 OWC and a graphics card ATI Radeon 7000 Mac flashed
@ a graphics card ATI Radeon 9200 Mac (keep using the G3 ZIF) and an ATA-PCI controller for faster disk access

I don't think it's worthwhile to invest any money in a Mac that old. Your buddy would be much better advised to save that money towards buying a new Mac.
