Just purchased ATI’s RADEON 9800 PRO MAC Edition Graphic Card (for my MDD 1GHz G4)and now realize that I need to get a DVI to ADC adapter because the card only has a DVI port. Does anyone know where I can find an adapter other that the ones offered by the apple store or small dog?

Are there any tricks to installing the card or is it pretty straight forward?

Installing the card is easy. The only difference between it and your old video card is that the 9800 Pro requires an auxiliary power connector. That's easy to attach as it should include a molex power splitter/extension cable.

Apple's DVI to ADC adapter is one of two available. I think the other one is called the DVIator by Dr. Bott. It looks to be the same price as the Apple one and it accomplishes the same goal, though I bet Dr. Bott sells stuff on their site without sales tax.
