I just installed the Verax silencer kit on my Dual 1.25 FW800 and now my CPU temperatur is around 58 C (137 F) while room temperature is around 21 C (70 F).

Unfortunately I can't remember the usual temperature before the kit. So what's your temperature (avg./ max.)?

My dual 1.0 with only FW-400 is a steady 56c. Sometimes lower but I have never seen it go above 140f.

My Dual 1.25 fw800 temp is currently 132 F with room temp about 70.

Dual 1.42ghz w/ the copper heat sinks is 126.5ºF right now. It's been a lot cooler since I moved to this new room though. Last summer it was around 142ºF.
