I run OE 5.06 on a Mac clone, OS 9.0.4. Recently, Outlook Express freezes when I try to open messages and I am forced to reboot. OE even crashed when I tried to rebuild its database. Any ideas?

Try upgrading to OS 9.2.2, which is a lot more stable in general. And you may have better luck in the Software forum.
