I have a "Rev A" SP G5 1.8. I'm thinking about getting an ATI 9200 PCI video card to drive my second monitor. Currently I've got an ATI 128 PCI card, but with that card my computer won't deep sleep - it always locks up on wake.

So: can anyone verify first hand that a G5 will deep sleep with an ATI 9200 PCI card installed?

Not first hand, no, but ATi's spec say that it supports all the relevant deep sleeping standards, which means that it should. I also know that "sleeping" (hibernating) a Win2k machine works with a Radeon 9200 SE AGP, as I installed one for my sister only yesterday.

I have a dual 2.5 G5 with a Radeon 9200 and it deep sleeps just fine.
