I've got a new iMac 1.8 G5 with Airport extreme card. I play iTunes thru my stereo receiver via airport express with airtunes. But the volume levels coming out of the stereo receiver are very loud (blowing speakers "very loud.) even though the sound levels on the iMac and the receiver are set very low.

Is there a way to balance the sound levels with switching from "computer" to "wireless". (I know what you're thinking: turn down the levels before you switch.) But I'm worried that someone else using the computer might make the switch with disastrous results. Is there a modulator or sound reducer I can add?

Thanks.
