OK, I'll be nice... I would suggest your local paper. I've found some good deals from some good people. There is nothing like handing someone your old Mac and getting cash in your palm.

It's the safest way to sell a computer.

ALSO, make sure they know the computer is AS IS. I had someone come back because a Mac died (actually it was the HD) two years after I sold it to them.

2 years!.. why do people think crap they buy off ebay or otherwised used from a private seller come with a lifetime warrenty? I totally refuse to look at peoples how computers because of this idea of implied warrenty.. I'd help them fix something and they would call me months later when something else broke and blame me for it "your the last one who worked on it" I've had people tell me that.. ya, months ago and for like FREE, as in out of the kindness of my heart!

That totally burns me up. It's gone as far as me LOOKING at a computer for a friend (I'm literally saying booting it up) and them blaming me for something happening.

I had a situation where a person couln't get the computer to boot... and it was "an emergency"... so I was able to get Windows to boot in safe mode, but it was acting screwy... Them: What did you do, it's acting all funny!!! FIX IT!!!

Definitely craigslist if you're in one of their cities.
