I suggest the McBoat-anchor. At $499 without keyboard, mouse, monitor, bluetooth or airport, that's exactly what it is, an expensive boat-anchor for a small boat.

at 2.9 lbs? hardly a boat anchor.

MM = Micro Mac

or

TM = Tiny Mac

I could only be a true "mini" if it came in colors.

iSardineCan!

Seriously, when I look at the Mac mini and Netgear's routers, I can't help but think that I could pry off the top and see little fish packed inside.

Hobby-schmobby; I have a tricked out Cube too--1ghz, Geforce3, 80gb hd, 1.25gb ram. While the mini is cute and all, its not much of an upgrade, really. I'll pass and hold out for a proper G5

BTW, your site macminiforums.com isn't loading. Maybe DNS propogation.

- it's the first generation mini, so I would be a little more patient with the upgrades you're talking about. i don't think sonnet is going to start announcing new boards or anything just yet. i was discussing making it into either an in-car pc, a home audio/video unit, a smart home server, or if it all doesn't work out in this revision... then just a headless server.

- hmm, not sure what the problem is... I have a handful of people already registered and posting. the dns was set up the day of the keynote. what is the error you are receiving?
