I made a rant about the "free mac mini" and "free iPod photo" ads that are all over the place in one of the notes on the front page of macnn. As someone with a BS in Math, I have to say that NO it does NOT work. You are wasting your time to even try. It's a pyramid scheme, and you are willfully subjecting yourself to extreme amounts of advertising.

The first few people that got in would have been able to get enough people to join, but it has to be impossible by now. Also, this kind of stuff has been illegal in the US for a LONG time. It's impossible for everyone to sign up ten new members. Also, the license agreement allows them to change this number at any time without notice. In addition, it says that they can give you any item of any value they choose.

You are wasting your time--and everyone else's too.
