Anybody here have any luck installing Panther (10.3) server on their mac mini.

The mini doesn't boot off the os x server cds - just freezes.

I've heard of 2 solutions so far

- install the mac os x server essentials package off the 2nd os x server cd.
- boot the mini in firewire mode, connect it to an older machine that is capable of booting mac os x server and install it on there that way.

suggestions?

thanks.

There are enough threads about using Mac mini as a server here.

Plus, Macintouch.com has a whole discussion of it.
