I got a ZIF chip off of eBay, got my old heatsink off, and now I've popped in the new chip.

Besides the jumpers, which I can probably pick up at Ratshack, I've now got the issue of thermal paste to deal with. I've dealt with previous upgrades on the PC side and so I scraped off the used thermal compound with a credit card, and I've pretty much gotten most of the rest of it off with rubbing alcohol. Can I use standard thermal paste (Arctic Silver) or is something else recommended?

Would appreciate any input from you wizards out there.

Normal heatsink grease from Radio Shack will be fine. It's still just a processor putting out heat.
