I looked for a thread on this subject but didn't find one. I'm planning to buy a G5 so I thought I'd ask for suggestions on a retailer. Here's my history:
Mac LC: Campus bookstore
PowerMac 6100/66: Campus bookstore
G4 AGP Sawtooth: MacZone
iBook 500: MacConnection
iPods: Apple Store in SoHo NYC

I've got a brick and mortar Apple store in the neighborhood and have access to an educator's discount.

With your educators discount I'd say the Apple store (online)
Without I'd definately look at LA Computer Company

That's where I got my dual 2.0 and got a better deal than from Apple with the educators discount.
