Well, even though I said I would wait for dual 3.0's to come out, I decided to go ahead and purchased a dual 2.5. I decided I had waited long enough, and wanted it now. I got it configured with 1 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, Nvidia 6800GT, and the Bluetooth module/keyboard/mouse option.
I figured with the Dell monitors going on sale for $550, I was saving a ton (well, not really since I got two of them, but its still cheaper than a single 23 inch display).
I am quoted 3-5 weeks until shipment. Does it usually take this long, or are they just late guessing?

Hopefully, the ship date is a worst-case. Probably the video card that's holding it up. Those are still in short supply, it seems.

Congrats on the new buy!
I bought a 2.5 myself this week with a 30 DP and boy do i love this machine!
I didnt have to wait that long since it got delivered in two days, maybe because i bought from the Apple Store.
For those who wait, dont, this machine is the bomb, period.

I put my order in for a G5 this week and was told it would take 5 days for the build time. I received an email from Apple only two days later saying that it was ready for delivery!
Unless there is a stock shortage with any parts, I think your order will arrive sooner than the date given.
