So here's the deal...

My sister has in-flight a 2.5 Powermac. She kept the basic 9600XT card in the order because she is taking my 9800 Pro and I'm upgrading to a X800 XT (due Tuesday!). As a result of all this card swapping there will be a spare 9600XT. Is this card compatible with G4s (AGP 4x*) or is it G5-only (AGP 8x)?

If it works in the G4s, my parents have a few Powermacs and one lucky one could benefit from this upgrade.

*wasn't the final interation of the 1.42 dual Powermac G4 a AGP 8x machine? If so, one of the recipient G4 Powermacs is of this model.

G5-only, unless you tape over or remove interface pins 3 and 11.

The final G4s were AGP 4x, FYI.
