Hey guys...I recently got an iMac G5. Fantastic system...except the internal speakers are a bit lacking compared to my Cube's external "ball" speakers.
I have an iSub already, so I'm really just looking for a small two-piece setup...no less than 10 watts per channel (20W total). And preferably inexpensive.
Any recommendations? I looked at the JBL Duet from Harman/Kardon, but those aren't rated any more powerful than the iMac's internal speakers (12W total).
Thanks!

I picked up HK Soundsticks II from amazon about two weeks ago for $119 shipped! You can't beat the sound for less not to mention they are thin and upright so they take up minimal space and look amazing perched next to the iMac.

JBL Creature II's. That is one hell of a set of speakers. I've used them since they launched the first set and upgraded along the way when I upgraded machines. Never let me down, plenty loud and a great range of sound.

I'd be very tempted in your position to get the Logitech Z2300s ($127.99 at Newegg.com). I have the Z2200s - they're basically the same thing, just with a different cosmetic design. Absolutely thunderous bass and still pretty clear-sounding.

We have a Peripherals forum for a reason, folks!

P.S. SoundSticks are horrifically overrated. You can get better sound for 1/2 the money if you don't need their distinctive look.
