I recently won a used G4 OWC ZIF on eBay that had been posted here. Unfortunately, it didn't ship with the jumpers which I need to adjust on the board of my B&W in order to work!

I've tried contacting the Rat Shack, local computer stores, all to no avail - standard jumpers from IDE hard drives or IDE drives in general don't seem to fit these darn things, and all I really need is about 7-8 of them.

Anybody out there with suggestions on where I might be able to find these things or with a few extras on hand I could buy from you?

The jumpers are nothing special, you only need to make the connection. Twist them together or solder a little lead over a pair or something

The only problem is that I got a new board, since my old one died. I need to update the firmware to accept the G4 upgrade, and in order to do so I need to reinstall my G3. I have no jumper block available.

Believe me, if it was that easy I wouldn't be asking. Besides, I may see if I can overclock the chip so soldering or bending connectors on the board is generally just a bad idea.

That's incredibly hot. Thanks a million...odd enough, the guy working there didn't mention these - they're in stock, too! Awesome.

You still have to know where to put them, though. The info will likely be out there somewhere.
