	Hello Forum, My iMac DV SE G3/400 740RAM works pretty well for the work I do as a college instructor but my old eyes seem to want a bigger minitor, so I can at least make text bigger, if not clearer. So I'm using a nice 17" Dell monitor my wife handed down to me. My desk is a bit more cluttered than usual now and I'm a bit concerned about the extra heat, thinking ahead to summer. My question is, can I turn off the screen on the iMac or does the mirroring mode of the iMac require that it's screen be on along with the Dell monitor? Jake S:
