I have a tax return check coming and I am considering getting the Apple 23" Studio display for my 2004 MDD PowerMac G4. However, I have the stock Radeon 9000 Pro with 64MB of RAM. Will this card be able to push the 23" display, or should I upgrade the video card too?
Also, can anyone recommend a PCI SATA card for the PowerMac?
The only display with issues is the 30". They all have a DVI connector. So, if your card has either ADC or DVI, you will be fine. If it has ADC and NOT DVI, you can get a $30 adapter to make it work.

Thanks in advance!
I had the same configuration: dual 1.42 MDD machine with stock Radeon 9000 64MB VRAM, and I ran the 23" ADC-based Cinema Display with no problems. The card also has a DVI port, so you can run Apple's latest version of the monitor. Enjoy.
