Simple setup, iMac G5 running at 1680*1050. S-Video adapter in the mini-VGA port so I can watch movies on my TV.

The problem/feature being that when the Mini-VGA adapter is plugged in the iMac switches to 1024*768. As a consequence every time I want to use the iMac I have to unplug it and every time I want to stick a movie on the TV I have to plug it in. That's just a pain in the ass.

Is there a workaround or something simple I'm missing?

Hi,
I have the same problem with plug-unplug. Did you find a solution?

I'll vouch for SS Doctor too . . . the best thing I've got for my iMac so far!
I am part of Lakers Nation and love to buy Used Golf Clubs
