If you need a computer now, buy one now; it not, wait until you can at least get Tiger included for free.

Nobody except Apple have a clue. Even good ol' Mac Rumors is having trouble knowing when the update is coming http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/

This is food for thought. ... Are you planning to purchase Tigger? Wait otherwise go and get now.

There will most likely be one more update this year - Apple usually has done one in the fall at some point. Also, Tiger will probably be optimized for those systems as well. So, if you can wait, I would. More speed and performance for less price would be worth it - especially for Tiger.

But, if you need one now, get it now. There's never been a better time to buy a PowerMac.
