I am considering purchasing a Mac Mini to be a center of an entertainment hub. My wife and I don't watch TV, only videos. We have a Sharp Aquos 20" TV that we use to view DVDs. We have a Denon system right now (5 CD changer; DVD player; dual cassette deck, and receiver). In the last three months I have converted all of my CDs and cassette tapes to MP3s so they are now loaded into iTunes. Storing all of the music on the mini will let me sell the CD player and the cassette tape deck. Would also like to sell the DVD player and use the mini's DVD capability. What I want to know is:

1. Can I connect the MacMini to the Sharp Aquos 20" TV? If so, how? And what will the pix quality likely be?
2. Should I instead get a 20" or 23" Display and sell the Aquos? What are people's experience with the 23" HD display and the mini running DVDs?

Thanks for your help.

I don't know anything about this TV, but as long as you're able to connect via VGA or DVI and adjust the display to its native resolution you should be OK.
