I have been asked to build a Mac kiosk with touchscreen techology on an LCD as cheaply as possible (school library application with low budget).
Has anybody here ever tried to attach at 4-wire touchscreen to an iMac (half dome) to create a kiosk usage?
I have the Gunze touchscreen with 4-wire tail and want to use a USB controller to interface the touchscreen to the Mac GUI. There is a bit on the web about this but has anybody successfully achieved it under OS X and if so, using what USB controller with what accuracy and reponse speed?
