I'm looking to purchase a second hard drive (in the range of 250gb - 400gb) for my Power Mac G4 MDD. In the MDD manual, it states that the max width is 3.9 inches, and the max depth is 5.7 inches. As I've been browsing across vsrious websites, I notice most sites identfiy drives like a Seagate 400gb drive or a Western Digital 250gb drive as having a 5.8 inch depth and/or a 4 inch width. How "close" does it have to be to 5.7 inches and 3.9 inches? One would think Apple built the hard drive slot with an "industry standard" size for a second hard drive...

Or, does anyone have any suggestions as to a particular hard drive that would work?

Thanks!

They're industry standard, any normal 1" high, 3.5" drive will work.
