I have a 1.25Ghz eMac. I decided I would wipe out my HD and reinstall OSX on my eMac, but now after reinstalling it and installing OSX 10.3.8 and all the updates, my computer keeps getting disconnected from the internet all the time.
I use a ZyXel Prestige 650H modem/router to connect to the internet via LAN. This had never happened to me before but now it happens constantly, I keep getting disconnected from the internet and I can gain access again if I turn off my eMac and turn it on back again, or if I reset my router.... I've also noticed that most of the times this has happened to me, the disconnection has occured while I was browsing the iTunes Music Store... I wonder if that has anything to do with the problem.
What's worse of it all is that my brother is connected through the same modem/router with his PC and he doesn't experience these problems at all, his connections is always steady.
Does anyone know about any way I can solve this??? It's REALLY bothersome!
