hardware test for dual 500 G4?

we have a G4 (dual 500) that was purchased used, and it didn't come with the hardware test disk. it's been having random problems booting up, shutting down, freezing, etc, and I was hoping that I could download the hardware test for this model somewhere.
anyone have any idea where to look?

It is not something you can download.
You can try eBay but you may end up buying a CD for another graphite tower that will not work with yours. The smart thing to do is to buy TechTool Pro or something else like it that does everything the hardware CD does plus more.

well, you could buy a processor upgrade from GIgaDesigns and pay like 60 bucks more and it will come with Tech Tool Pro instead of just Drive 10. kill two birds with one stone
