G5 DP 2.5 opening drive door mystery!

Hi all,

I'm new to G5 territory and just started noticing that my drive door is opening everytime i restart the computer. Is there something i can do to stop this from happening?

You may want to try booting into Open Firmware (command+option+o+f) and issuing these commands:

reset-nvram
set-defaults
reset-all

I think resetting the nvram has cured such issues for others.

It may also be related to third-party USB devices. Do you have any of those?
