In my iMac G5 20', the DVD burner/player is a Matshita DVD-R UJ-825. I am playing disks I bought in US, but I live in Brasil and I rent disks for latin america region. How do I unlock the drive for play any region disks?
Thanks in advance,
Eduardo,

Right now, you don't. The main site for Mac region-free firmware, http://superdrive.cynikal.net/ , doesn't have a patch for the 825 drive.

But you can use VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html) to play any DVD, regardless of the drive region.
