I have a Friend who has this machine:
G4 dual 867 V 2.1 512Ram then:
4.4.8f2 (or Z?)
he runs sys 9.2 as in 10.2 his fans make a lot of noise. the fans have been replaced by apple but the noise continues.
the PaloAlto genius' say it has to come in to be further repaired.
we updated to 10.3.8 and there is still much more noise than my G4 dual 1gz boot rom 4.4.6f2
so the questin is: my the noise on his and not mine? ( mine is not a quiet as id like buy I think its par for the course)
why is my boot rom different.
sorry can't recall puchase dates.
this has probably been covered before but my search confused me!
