G4 Digital Audio: Internal Sound problems

Hey all,


Here is my deal. The computer works great, except that when it's using the internal sound (particularly the internal speaker) the audio fades in and out at FULL blast. The volume controls nor mute do anything. Does anyone have any ideas?

I've reinstalled, hit the PMU switch, zapped PRAM etc.
