I just received a dual 1,8ghz for my QS 867ghz,
In the installation guide it said that no firmware update was needed for QS's, I ve updated the firmware w/ the Gigadesign installation CD, I followed carefuly the guide, but when I tried to boot the screen stayed black, the fans work, the HD's too but I hear no tone....I tried to boot while pressing the programmer's button but nothing...
anybody has an idea???

No Apple firmware update is necessary. The Giga 7447 firmware update is, however.
