I have just bought a new G5 tower The setup utill transfered all the setings and lots of my documents over using with the G4 in Firewire Target disk mode. What I need to do now is move the other documents and my iTunes musc library. Is there a simple way to do this (other than over ethernet) without screwing up the permissions?
Would it be possible to connect the old 2nd HD (out of the G4) to the optical drive cables as a temp' measure while I copy over all my stuff?

Ever used Carbon Copy Cloner for an exact clone of the HD?
