My dual 2.5 G5 repeatedly warns me that a device has been improperly removed on awakening. This happens when no device has been removed. It has also failed to show a zip disc on the screen after inserting it in the drive. Shutting down solved this, but the device removal warning persists. Any ideas?

If you think the warnings are due to your external zip drive, there is a driver issue of some sort. Look for an update.
