I have bartered my way into swapping my single G5 1.6 for a dual 1.8... If I move my drive right into the new system (and vice versa) will everything still work, or will I need to reload the OS in order to enable SMP?

Everything should Just Work™.

You can fire up the CPU monitor in Activity Monitor to be sure, but the OS seems to auto-detect hardware, and activate accordingly at boot.

For example, I installed OS 10.3 on my iPod, and have booted several computers from it. It sees both CPUs on the dualies, Airport and bluetooth on the Powerbook, etc.

Yep, did the swap today and everything just worked! Off to test the New Dualness and see how much faster it is.
