Well it's the same case and same fans, so I'd say they'd be identical. You can quiet them down by removing the fan guards built into the case... I'll be doing that in a few weeks to my quicksilver.

Mine's loud... I can't wait to upgrade it to a new machine! Maybe you should think about getting a refurb G5 or something?

Yep..either looking at a 1.8 or Dual 2.0 but only the graphics card on the 1.8 will allow me 2 plug in my new 23" ACD beast.
