My powermac seems to run very smoothly all except for a sleep bug. When I put it to sleep and then try to wake it back up, it starts, but then it often goes right back to sleep. Usually i need to wake it up several times before it stays up.
Is there any known solution for this?

System:
duel 2ghz
1gig ram
OS 10.3.9

What method to you use to wake from sleep? (Power button, keyboard, mouse)

You're waking up your G5 with mouse movement? My DP 2.0 does not wake up for that; I didn't think any Macs responded to the mouse while in sleep mode. Strange.

I'm having the same problem too. Wonder if it's my Intellimouse driver?

Hmm...maybe. Mine's a cordless logitech.

I just tried the stock apple mouse, and you're right, Big Mac, it doesn't wake the system like my logitech does. Yet, I wouldn't be so sure it's the mouse to blame, because when i woke the system up with the power button, it did the same thing...

Can anyone else shed some light here?

I'm waking my (Rev. B) G5 with a mouse. Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0.
