Hello, all. I have a highly upgraded Digital Audio G4 tower that recently stopped powering up correctly. The power button light will come on, and I hear the fan, but that's it. I have to push the CUDA button, then power back up. I have to do this every time. The only thing I've done lately is remove the processor to put better heat paste on it. I've been doing that for years, so I know it's done correctly. Anyone know what's going on?

New battery time, I believe.

I had a similar issue occur with my sawtooth G4 and I simply started pulling components out of it
until it booted - turns out my DVD-ROM crapped out. I replaced it with a Lite-ON and I was good to
go.

Start taking bits and pieces out of your machine until it boots all the way and see what that does for
you. Once you isolate the problem component you should be back up and running.

I think my battery wore out years ago and I've never had an issue with that.

I replaced the battery yesterday, and still have the same problem.
