i'm having some issues with my beige g3 desktop
i was using onyx on 10.2.8 and it did something that is now preventing my mouse from working unless i boot in 9. my added dvd drive just died also so i can't boot from a disk to solve the problem
i'm considering buying a b+w cheap and trying to transfer some of my upgrades...
sonnet g4 500, graphics card and ram
can someone tell me if that would work or maybe direct me to the tech specs for both?
i've got one of the new powerbooks coming on monday and i really want to keep a machine at home too.

the cpu & video card will work no problem, the ram might work, but if it is PC66, it will slow down a B&W, which uses PC100 by default........

However, I fail to see how running Onyx would mess up your mouse/dvd drive.........try repairing permissions too
