So the Apple Specials section has refurbed 17" G4 iMacs for $1099. Who are they kidding anyway?

iMac G4 1.25GHz/256MB/80GB/SuperDrive/ E/ 56K/64MB VRAM/ 17-inch - Apple Certified - $1099

iMac G5 1.8GHz/512MB/160GB/ComboDrive/GigE/56K/Airport/BT/128MB VRAM 17-inch - Brand New - $1299

iMac G5 2GHz/512MB/160GB/SuperDrive/GigE/56K/Airport/BT/128MB VRAM 17-inch - Brand New - $1499

Not to mention the fact that you can also buy the just-discontinued G5 iMacs, brand new, for $999 (combo) and $1,099 (SuperDrive). Those last G4 iMacs are nice machines, but a poor value at that price, especially used.
