I have a 15" Aluminum PB 1.25 with 512 mb. I am wondering if there will be noticible difference in speed of internet, itunes, final cut express etc to warrant buying the new 20" iMac or if I should just get a 20" cinema display?

Any new owners of the iMac 20" rev b. that are totally impressed with its speed or the quality of its screen?

I would think that the majority of new iMac 20" owners would be very pleased with the quality and speed of their machine. If you have a 15" PB already, I would just get the 20" ACD. It's much cheaper and then you can get the next revision of the PB and have the best of both worlds; portability and lots of screen space.

Hello. I'm typing this on my new 20 inch iMac. I got it at the Glendale store today. It replaced a 667 DVI powerbook that was a good but tired soldier. This thing screams. Everything is faster. The internet is more than double the speed. The processor matters but also the system bus speed. The memory is much faster but I currently only have 512 while my pb has 1 gig. The G5 and the 2 ghz really make a difference. And the screen is amazing. I guess I'm just gushing at this point but I'm enthralled.
